Ioanna Chaita
Psychologist, Counselling and Accessibility Unit Associate
I was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982, grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece and the past twelve years I have been living in Xanthi, Greece. I studied Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I was trained in Systemic∕Family Psychotherapy and Counselling. After having worked for several institutions as a psychologist, I decided to start my own private practice in 2015, an ongoing activity till nowadays. My collaboration with Democritus University of Thrace started in 2015 at the Erasmus Office and continued at the University’s Counselling and Accessibility Unit since 2018.
